Care Providers (Midwives and Obstetricians)

There are many obstetrical care providers in the Mid-Columbia region, and it would not be beneficial to list each of them here. Mid-Columbia Birth Network can not make provider recommendations over the Internet, as the choice of a care provider is as individual choice as any.  Yet it is usually the single most important decision you can make when preparing for your birth. So though they are not listed here, please feel free to contact the members of our organization and they will be able to give you specific recommendations based on your unique needs and desires for your care.  Alternatively, if you are looking for a non-interventive birth, a good starting place to find a caregiver might be looking at our “members” section of the website as some of the folks listed there are primary care providers. If you are a local obstetrician or midwife and endorse our principles, we invite you to join us.

Please see our page entitled Choosing a Caregiver for more information about how to choose a midwife or obstetrician in a way that honors your needs.
